Road to Consensus ‒ Doublesharp
Known for his incisive commentary on FTM Alerts and his contributions to many of the projects building on Fantom, Doublesharp is a luminary in the Fantom ecosystem. He’ll be joining Michael Kong and other notable members of the Fantom community at the Consensus festival on Saturday, June 11 to share some of his latest work on smart contract programming. Here’s what he had to say ahead of crypto’s largest annual gathering.
1. What are you most looking forward to at the conference?
I am looking forward to meeting and interacting with other leaders in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space. Hearing what others are working on can spark ideas and lead to unexpected collaborations.
2. What will you be speaking about?
My presentation will be on using EIP-1167 Minimal Proxy Contracts deployed to deterministic addresses with EIP-1014 CREATE2. These counterfactually deployed contracts can be used as a “smart wallet” to interact with other token standards such as ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 multi-tokens, with tricks for gas savings and security along the way.
3. What's the one key Fantom-related idea or point that you want people to remember after the conference?
Fantom’s low gas prices and transaction fees allow for creative and unique contract architectures, and the short time to finality allows for a pleasant user experience.
