F1™ driver Pierre Gasly ready to drop exclusive NFTs on Artion
We've been bursting at the seams to announce it, and it's finally here: Pierre Gasly is set to drop an incredible collection of NFTs for auction on Artion at https://gasly.artion.io/!
This will be a moment of firsts: the first special NFT drop on Artion and the first drop of an F1™ driver.
There will be one drop of four different NFTs over two days.
Three unique NFTs at auction
On Wednesday, October 20 at 2 pm UTC, three unique NFTs will go on auction.
Each NFT will be redeemable for exclusive physical objects and real-life experiences. These three NFTs commemorate the podium appearances that mark Pierre's meteoric rise to the heights of motorsport.
- In 2021, Gasly took the podium at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, a race that runs on a tortuous and unforgiving street circuit in Baku.The winner of this auction will be able to redeem the NFT for the helmet Pierre wore for the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix and enjoy a meet and greet with Pierre over the next 12 months.
- At the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix, Gasly made his first-ever podium appearance after a thrilling race in which he held off Lewis Hamilton in a straight drag to the finish line.The winner of this auction will be able to redeem the NFT for a signed promotional helmet from the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix and a meet and greet with Pierre over the next 12 months.
- In the 2020 Italian Grand Prix, Gasly became the first French driver to take the number one spot since 1996.The winner of this auction will be able to redeem the NFT for a VIP experience for two people during a race weekend, a meet and greet with Pierre over the next 12 months, a signed 2021 mini-helmet, and a signed cap.
Bids will be in wFTM. The auctions will close at 2 pm UTC on Saturday, October 23.
Limited edition of 350
On Friday, October 22, an additional NFT set composed of 350 pieces will go live for direct purchase in wFTM, TOMB, and ZOO.
Winners will be able to redeem their NFT for a signed cap and a numbered, limited edition t-shirt commemorating Pierre's first NFT drop.
Ten special NFTs will also qualify to receive a signed mini-helmet in addition to the cap and t-shirt.
Redeemable NFTs
The redeem page will go live after the auctions and the sale end. The owners of the NFTs will be able to redeem them for exclusive physical items and real-life experiences.
All redeemed NFTs will be burned.

In addition to his successes on the race track, Gasly is a supporter of blockchain technologies who has worn the Fantom logo on his helmet this year.

Pierre Gasly
Pierre Gasly is a 25-year-old French racing-driver, who is currently racing in Formula 1™ (F1™) with Scuderia AlphaTauri.
Born in Rouen, France, Pierre had a taste for racing from an early age, karting in his native France and internationally. Graduating to single-seaters in 2011, he quickly made a name for himself by earning three wins in his first year in French F4 to finish 3rd overall. Moving to Formula Renault Eurocup 2.0, he drove a commanding campaign to take the title in 2013.
In 2014, Pierre’s talents saw him welcomed into the Red Bull Junior Team, contesting Formula Renault 3.5, he finished as vice-champion, collecting 8 podiums. Moving up to GP2 Series in 2015, he returned in 2016 in a stunning campaign of 4 victories, 5 poles and 8 podiums to be crowned the GP2 Champion. Narrowly missing out on the Superformula title in 2017 by just half a point. Pierre was announced as a Formula 1 driver for the Scuderia Toro Rosso team ahead of the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix. Racing with the team for the full 2018 season, Pierre finished in the points in 5 races.
Now in his fourth full Formula 1 season, Gasly has earned three F1™ podiums – including a spectacular maiden win at Monza in 2020. Pierre is not only Scuderia AlphaTauri’s all-time top point scorer, but a fan favourite, securing the ‘Driver of the Day’ award, voted for by F1™ fans on multiple occasions.
