DABS and Fantom Enter Into Digital Blockchain and E-Audit Pilot Program

Highlights:

  • Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) and Fantom have signed an MoU agreement for the digitalisation and implementation of advanced audit software within DABS’s operations.
  • The MoU dictates that Fantom will build a tailored pilot demonstrating a sample database migration, an ERP blockchain suite demo (Audit System), and a CRM platform.
  • Upon the successful completion of the prototype, DABS and Fantom will look towards formal contract agreements and a long-term business-to-business relationship.

On the 26th of November 2020, at Kabul, Afghanistan, DABS and Fantom signed an Memorandum of Understanding to formalise the start of software development discussions.

This agreement seeks to leverage the natural synergy between both parties, incorporating Fantom’s blockchain and advanced software tools with DABS’s innovative approach to energy efficiency and transparency.

Fantom has agreed to build and showcase its technological capabilities through a prototype, incorporating their blockchain capabilities within an ERP suite to ensure complete transparency and auditability throughout the meter-to-cash-cycle and internal business processes.

Assisting Fantom with this partnership is SKChain, a London based blockchain consulting firm. SKChain's Director and CEO, Barek is the Director of Business Operations at Fantom who has been instrumental in the development of discussions.
